Hashky is a free product from Deterix Ltd, a software development company based in London. The platform offers a high degree of protection for your most important files, against email and network 'Person-in-the-Middle' attacks. Basically, the system works whether the file resides on your internal file-servers or is being emailed to a third party. Files can be instantly and independently verified that they have not changed since the original file was produced, detecting even the slightest change. This is achieved by the power of Cryptography, which means that a bad actor cannot simply change a file and re-date/re-size it to the original. If Hashky Fingerprinted the complete works of William Shakespeare (a grand total of 929,832 words/5.42M characters) and you just changed "Alas, poor Yorick!" to "Alas poor Yorick!" Hashky would spot the difference immediately when you verified the file! Why not try it with one of your own documents? We are working on a mail service, where you can forward a received email onto verify@hashky.com and it will reply with the fingerprint confirmation of any or all attached files, if matched on the Hashky system.

Yes. There is an API version available for seamless integration into your own business systems, but is not free. It is very competitively priced though, so whatever your volumes, we have a pricing model to suit.

If you attempt to upload any of the following types of system and programming files, they will be immediately rejected by the server and you will be presented with a '500 - Internal server error' message:

AS, ASP, ASPX, BIN, DMG, CFC, CFM, CFML, CFR, CFSWF, EXE, HBXML, JSP, JSPX, JWS, MXML, PHP, SWC, SWS

If you need to fingerprint any of these file types, you can always add them to a Zip file.
